IN AN
EMERGENCY
CALL “000"
Open 5 days a week
Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
How we can help:
Our GPs can help with:
- Stress, anxiety and worry
- Low mood and depression
- Grief and loss
- Sleep problems
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Postnatal mental health
- Alcohol and drug concerns
- Ongoing mental health conditions
You can talk to your GP about how you're feeling at any appointment. There's no need for a referral.
Mental Health Treatment Plans:
If you need extra support, your GP can prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan with you. The plan sets out your goals and treatment, and can include a referral to a psychologist or other mental health professional for Medicare-rebated sessions.
Your GP will review your progress with you along the way and arrange further sessions if needed.
To receive Medicare rebates for a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you need to see your usual GP or be registered with our practice through MyMedicare. Ask reception how to register, or visit our MyMedicare page.
Please let reception know you need a mental health plan when booking, so we can book a longer appointment.
