Men's Health – Yarra Glen
Men are often less likely to visit a GP, but regular check-ups are one of the best ways to pick up health problems early, when they're easier to treat. Our GPs provide practical, confidential care for men at every stage of life. All GP consultations are bulk billed for Medicare card holders.

How we can help:
It's easy to put off a check-up when you feel fine, or to hope a problem will sort itself out. But many common health issues, like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes, don't cause symptoms until they're more serious.
Seeing a GP regularly means you can:
- Catch problems early, when they're easier to treat
- Understand your risks and what you can do about them
- Get practical advice that fits your work and lifestyle
- Talk confidentially about anything that's worrying you
You don't need to be unwell to book an appointment. A quick check-up is a good place to start.
Our GPs can help with:

Regular health checks and screening

Screening and prevention:
Staying ahead of your health
Many serious conditions have no early symptoms, so regular check-ups matter, even if you feel well. Depending on your age and risk factors, your GP may recommend:
- Blood pressure and cholesterol checks
- Diabetes screening
- A Heart Health Check (from age 30)
- Bowel cancer screening (free home test kits for people aged 45–74)
- A conversation about prostate cancer testing, including the benefits and risks
- A 45–49 Year Health Check if you're at risk of chronic disease
